Small Business Grant, Application Time Scale
Do not expect an immediate decision on an application small business grant for financial assistance. You may have to wait some time for them to be considered.
5.1 Local small business grants, such as those by local councils, are usually quite quickly processed.
* You may have to wait up to six weeks before you hear whether the grant.
* These small business grants usually with simple application procedure.
5.2 national or European small business grants usually two to six months, but up to one year.
* You are usually able to offer a relatively simple application of Level 1 in the first instance. This allows the small business grant-type body to assess whether your project is a serious chance of funding. A Stage 1 application form is only two to five pages long, but it can take two or three days to prepare, you have to cost calculations.
* You can then decide whether or not to proceed with a full “level 2″. A Stage 2 form is usually 15 to 25 pages.
